Come hunt with us at Maine's premier upland bird hunting for ruffed grouse and woodcock. We're located in Maine's Upper Enchanted Wilderness, a pristine land of stunning beauty. It's a place where moose regularly wander through camp, and grouse perch in the trees just outside your window.
Enjoy great meals in our well-appointed camp, dynamic conversations by the fire and walks through our many covers behind well-trained pointers. We look forward to sharing the best season of the year with you!
Our outfitting area includes over 10,000 square miles of some of the best ruffed grouse hunting covers in the United States! While most areas of the country are struggling with grouse populations, Maine's logging industry keeps the woods young and healthy for our birds.
We do not just go out and look for grouse while hunting...we spend lots of time during the entire year conducting drumming surveys, marking bird contacts and exploring new covers. We scientifically target - for hunting and conservation - grouse populations in our area. We know where the birds are!
We look forward to sharing Maine's stunning beauty with you in some amazing places. Most of our guided ruffed grouse hunts and woodcock hunts include lodging and meals in our comfortable camp. We'll walk covers that begin right outside of our door. You haven't experienced all that upland hunting has to offer until you have hunted the king of all game birds, the ruffed grouse. The challenges and rewards are second to none.
Our guides love bird dogs and run well-trained American Brittany and German Shorthaired Pointers. We would also love to see your dog work the covers and have them hunt with us. If you like, we can help you train them and introduce them to wild birds and north woods grouse hunting.
We limit our trips to groups of 4 sportsmen or sportswomen to assure a high-quality, custom experience. We want this trip to be all that you want it to be, and we pay attention to the details.
